Chrissy Andrews

Chrissy is a licensed clinical social worker providing therapy in Mount Pleasant, SC who primarily works with preteens, teens, young adults, and families. She helps clients who are experiencing anxiety, depression, school-related stress, and relationship challenges. She understands how overwhelming it can feel to manage emotions, friendships, and expectations all at once.

Chrissy creates a supportive, easygoing space where clients can feel comfortable opening up without pressure or judgment. She focuses on helping clients better understand their emotions, improve communication, and feel more confident in how they handle everyday situations.

Her work centers on building real-life coping skills that clients can actually use outside of sessions. Whether that’s managing stress at school, navigating friendships, or handling difficult moments at home. Chrissy meets clients where they are, while gently encouraging growth in a way that feels manageable and realistic.

Chrissy uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients better understand how their thoughts, feelings, and actions are connected. Through this work, clients begin to feel more in control, more confident, and better equipped to handle challenges as they come up.

Chrissy earned her Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Georgia and her Master of Social Work from the Unversity of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is passionate about creating a space where clients feel supported, understood, and not alone in what they’re going through.
