Melissa works with individuals, couples, and families across South Carolina, including clients in Charleston, Mount Pleasant, and surrounding areas—both in person and through virtual therapy. She supports people navigating anxiety, life transitions, relationship struggles, trauma recovery, and personal growth.

Melissa specializes in anxiety, trauma recovery, addiction, and life transitions, working with individuals, couples, and families to navigate challenges and build resilience. She incorporates attachment theory, polyvagal techniques, and evidence-based approaches to support emotional healing and personal growth.

Melissa earned her Master of Science in Clinical Counseling from Charleston Southern University and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Maryland. Her clinical experience includes working with individuals, families, and groups in various settings, including Empowered Family and Waves 4 Women, a trauma-informed surf therapy program. She has also worked as a Drug and Alcohol Counselor in a medication-assisted treatment (MAT) clinic, advocating for addiction awareness and community education. Additionally, Melissa has over a decade of experience in the medical field as a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant, which informs her holistic, mind-body approach to mental health care.
