She has also worked as a Drug and Alcohol Counselor in a medication-assisted treatment (MAT) clinic, advocating for addiction awareness and community education. Additionally, Melissa has over a decade of experience in the medical field as a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant, which informs her holistic, mind-body approach to mental health care.
